HEX HALF NUT M20 (10mm THICK) CL8 ZPLock nuts are also known as Jam nuts. Two Lock nuts are used together hence forcing a jamming Effect. However there are other Locking Nuts with Superior Locking force. (see Conelok/Nyloc Nuts).. Lock nuts are now commonly used for a Lower Profile nut as their thickness is only approx Half thickness of the Standard Nut. (Note this is not exact in all cases)..
